| In early September 2007, Ghetto Amaretto, formed, in a diluted sense, with Conor "Scew" Dalton on guitar, Tom Birney on Bass, and Paddy O'Brien on drums. Soon, over a shared love of Lyons Pyramid teabags, a sea-food dinner (which never really happened), and a need for a singer, Chris Falconer joined the mix. Developing a sound something like a rainbow being run through a computer which has tourettes, by Christmas, "Da' Ghetto" had made some solid ground songwise. After awful delays, due to Leaving Cert interference , we finally decided to go a bit mad, and record an e.p.. Recording took place on the 4th, 5th, abd 6th of July 2008, at Data Recording studio, Kerry (of all places!!!) After just barely surviving the Oxygen Festival the following weekend, we got our business on, and are currently preparing the E.P. for release. Expect to see us for a week or two, randomly running up to you in Red Square, Waterford, frantically thrusting a free copy of the c.d. into your hand... Go on into town and look for us, sure, it'll be great like!!!...
